Location
The relatively new resort of La Tzoumaz (1500m) is the closest 4 Valley resort to Geneva Airport (150km). The motorway at Riddes is only 10km and Sion airport and railway station only 20km. Chalet Rosablanche is located in a quiet, sunny spot only 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village and next to the shuttle-bus stop at Les Esserts (50m). La Tzoumaz is a friendly village, you will find good traditional restaurants and bars, a supermarket, post office, patisserie, boucherie, several ski hire shops, a swimming pool and fitness centre, children’s playground, crèche, and outdoor ice-rink.

Winter Season
The winter season in La Tzoumaz stretches from mid December until the end of April and has a great snow record. As part of the 4 Valleys, the village is a fantastic base for gaining access to the 400km of ski runs and 100 ski lifts, via the new high-speed gondola direct to Savoleyres above Verbier. This area is renowned for it’s fabulous mountain restaurants!
La Tzoumaz Ski School offers expert tuition for all levels. Absolute beginners are catered for at the ‘babylift’, before progressing to the gondola and chair lifts in this area. Snow boarders will be pleased to find a permanent boarder-cross on the Taillay run. The 10km Luge Run from the top of the gondola adds an exciting challenge to be tackled at all levels of ability. Three new well-marked snow-shoe trails have been opened this year. For those looking for excitement, heliskiing is offered from Croix de Coeur with trips over to beautiful Rosablanche area and Petit Combin. Back in the village, the natural ice-rink allows free ice-skating (9am-9pm), there is also a swimming pool and sauna.
Tzoumaz Kids Club offers childcare for children aged 2-6 years, Monday-Saturday (8am –5pm) and is conveniently located near to the Gondola.
Spring Summer Season
On a more relaxed noted summer brings the sunshine and with it Summer festivals and markets with delicious local produce. Many mountain restaurants remain open throughout the summer, as does the gondola. There are 300km of well-marked walking trails and mountain biking tracks, amongst the beautiful alpine Wild flowers. Fishing, tennis, paragliding, horse riding, golf, and arapohoe can all be found locally. As La Tzoumaz is only 10km from motorway at Riddes, it is a good base for exploring the wider Valais area, including the historic town of Sion, the fabulous spa pools at Ovronnaz and for taking a boat trip on Lake Geneva.
